In the cold months of winter, there is nothing like hunkering down by the fire — or in my case, the heating vent in the dining room — with a big bowl of chili and a couple of home baked biscuits.
Last night, Ben and I did just that. Except, due to my inability to follow a recipe without adding my own flava, we got pretty funky with it. So check out my recipe pages for my Smokey Mexican Chili and Whole Wheat Pumpkin Drop Biscuits. Apart, they are pretty delish, but together, they kick more ass than Uma Thurman. Plus, the biscuits are low in fat since some of the (vegan) butter is subbed out for pumpkin. Don’t tell Ben!
