We all scream for ice-cream! (If you didn’t know how that little ditty was going to be finished, I feel sorry for you as you must have led a desolate, ice-creamless childhood.)
I am always cold in the winter, and if you come to my house at any given hour I will be wearing my robe — over my jeans and sweater, no less — and shuffling around the house in a constant state of shivers. However, that doesn’t stop me from having a weekly vegan ice-cream party.
Here is my latest creation, a delish dish that made me feel totally indulgent. My girlfriend Alex and I whipped up some Pina Colada ice-cream and covered it in pecans and a decadent cocoa-fig spread, which we warmed on the stove. Heavenly! Of course, after we were finished, I went and sat on top of the heating vent for forty-five minutes defrosting.
